Jay Emmanuel-Thomas Completes Switch To Ipswich
Arsenal midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has completed his move to Championship side Ipswich.
The 20-year-old captained the Arsenal youth team to the FA Youth Cup back in 2009, and was strongly regarded as a player who could break into the senior squad with his level of ability.
However, he managed just one senior start and four substitute appearances for the team, and has had to ply his trade with other clubs to gain first-team football.
The midfielder becomes the Suffolk club's second signing of the day, after adding David Stockdale on a one-year loan deal from Fulham earlier in the afternoon.
