Legends : Patrick Vieira
Patrick Vieira rose to prominence during his time at Arsenal from 1996 to 2005, where he won three Premier League titles – one unbeaten – and four FA Cups, eventually becoming club captain.
The influential midfielder left Arsenal in 2005 and in August 2008, Vieira was ranked the fifth-greatest Arsenal player of all-time in a fan poll conducted on the club's official website.
On a less positive note, he also ranks among the players to have appeared in the English game with the worst disciplinary record, having been sent off 10 times during nine years at Arsenal.
