Transfer news are out and it has been revealed that AC Milan are interested in Arsenal midfielder Denilson.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has accepted a transfer request from the young Brazilian and is eager to cash in on the midfielder.

Tottenham have rivaled Arsenal by making a bumper offer to Bolton Wanderers for defender Gary Cahill.

The Daily Mail has reported that Tottenham have made another attempt to prevent the England international centre back from joining Arsenal by offering a staggering four players in a swap deal.

It is said that Bolton boss Owen Coyle has been contacted by the north London club over a complicated exchange that could see several of Harry Redknapp's squad leave with the players understood to be Sebastien Bassong, Robbie Keane, Jermaine Jenas and Alan Hutton.

Juan Mata Linked With A Move To Arsenal



Arsenal are linked with a move for Valencia ace Juan Mata.

The Sun has reported that the Gunners are already talking to Valencia over a £18million deal for the midfielder who can also double up as a winger.

Mata, who this weekend added the European Under-21 crown to the World Cup medal he won in South Africa last year, is up for grabs because Valencia are £327m in the red.

But Arsene Wenger wants to move quickly.

Gervinho Close To Arsenal Switch


French club Lille are ready to sell Gervinho to Arsenal.

It is believed that the Gunners could land the 24-year-old Ivory Coast striker in the next few days as his French club need to raise money to buy St Etienne winger Dimitri Payet.

Lille president Michel Seydoux said: "I have spoken with Gervinho and he wants to play for Arsenal next season.

"This is clear but now we must get an agreement between the two clubs.

"We have maintained contact but still the Londoners have not presented us with a formal offer.

"Negotiations are ongoing but Gervinho has demanded a solution to the situation soon."

Cesc Fabregas To Be Dumped As Arsenal Captain




Cesc Fabregas is set to be dumped as the captain of Arsenal.

The Daily Star Sunday has reported that Barcelona president Sandro Rosell is adamant the European champions will not raise their bid and there is a real chance Fabregas will be forced to stay at The Emirates.

And if he does, he could well lose the skipper’s armband to striker Robin van Persie or fit-again central defender Thomas Vermaelen.

“Cesc conducts himself with total professionalism in everything he does for Arsenal,” said an Emirates source. “But with all that has gone on there is a school of thought that he might not be the ideal candidate to remain as captain.

“Both Robin and Thomas have leadership attributes and the armband could well end up with one of them.”

Agent : Arsenal Will Not Carlos Vela



Carlos Vela's agent has revealed that Arsenal will not be selling his client this summer.

The 22-year old Mexico international’s future at the North London club has been clouded in recent months, especially after spending the second half of last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion.

However his representative has said that the Gunners are set to keep him.

Eduardo Hernandez told ESPN Radioformula : "I have had eight conversations with Arsenal, the most recent was last Friday, and Carlos is an Arsenal player, he will stay at Arsenal and is not for sale,”.

"The process with Carlos is a little bit slow.

"Arsene Wenger is an extremely demanding coach, he sent him on loan for six months to West Brom not with the results he wanted, but, nevertheless, everything is going very well."

Arsenal Join Race To Sign Moussa Sissoko


It has been revealed that Arsenal are tracking Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The French international's representative, Lamine Drame, has revealed that Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are all keen on the 21 year old midfielder.

The 21-year-old has been part of the Toulouse set up since 2003 and is under contract until 2013.

But sources in France have suggested that Toulouse would be willing to do business at around £7million.

AS Roma Closing In On Gael Clichy


AS Roma are using Franco Baldini to lead talks with Arsenal for Gael Clichy.

The England team manager is working part-time for Roma this summer, says Il Messaggero.

Baldini has a good relationship with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and has already opened talks about a deal for fullback Clichy.

Roma are offering €7-8 million, while Arsenal want €12-15 million for the Frenchman.

A compromise is expected for around €10 million - and Roma are prepared to include Jeremy Menez in their bid to sweeten the deal.

Arsenal have reportedly held fresh talks with Southampton for winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The 17 year old England U21 star has been a long-term target for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

The youngster have also attracted the interest of Premier League champions Manchester United and Liverpool.

It is said that the Southampton star has all but agreed on a contract, but The Saints are said to be unhappy with the offer they have received.

Arsenal Linked With A Move For Joey Barton


It has been revealed that Arsenal are serious about moving for Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton.

Former Toon striker Micky Quinn has revealed the Gunners have sounded out Newcastle about Barton's situation.

He told talkSPORT: “I know through a third party that Arsenal have enquired about Joey Barton.

“What I’m gutted about as an ex-Newcastle player is that the spine of the team, the personality of the team is going to be gone.

Sagna : Fabregas Wants To Join Barcelona


Bacary Sagna has reportedly said that he would not blame Cesc Fabregas for leaving Arsenal.

The Arsenal captain is continuously linked with a move to European and Spanish champions Barcelona.

Sagna told Radio RMC that Fabregas indeed wants to return to Spain and says he can understand it if he does depart the Emirates Stadium.

Sagna said : "I can say it’s true that Cesc wants to go to Barca,”.

"Fabregas wants to return to his country of birth, to his city, where his family are. He wants to play for one of the best teams in the world, Barcelona, and that’s understandable.”

However Sagna said that the 24-year old's status at the North London had not yet changed.

"At the moment, however, he is still Arsenal’s captain,” he added.

Arsenal Join Race To Sign Sebastian Larsson


It has been reported that Arsenal is joining a host of other Premier League clubs for off contract Birmingham City winger Sebastian Larsson.

The Daily Mail has reported that Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has already tried to move ahead of his North East rival Alan Pardew, the Newcastle United manager, in the battle for Larsson.

Blackburn and Arsenal are also interested in the Sweden star, 26, who is a free agent after turning down a new contract offer at St Andrew's.

The Swede favours staying in England.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reported to be desperate to keep Samir Nasri at the Emirates.

The French international midfielder has emerged as a target for Manchester United and has also been linked with Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.

Wenger told The Sun : "We will do everything to keep Nasri at the club. My wish is that he stays here.

Robin van Persie Denies Criticising England Players


Arsenal striker Robin van Persie denies criticising England players' off-the-field behaviour.

The Dutch international striker was quoted last week criticising the partying lifestyle of England's best players.

The 27-year-old has, however, denied making the comments via his Twitter page on Sunday evening.

"Want to clear up some things. I supposed to have made comments about the lifestyle of English players. Words have been taken out of context," he wrote.

Premier League side Liverpool have reportedly tabled a £5million bid but the bad news for them is that Wenger is reluctant to sell to one their rivals.

It has been revealed that Manchester United are making a serious move to prise Samir Nasri away from Arsenal.

The Daily Mail has revealed that the Premier League champions have opened tentative discussions over an audacious bid for Arsenal midfielder Nasri.

News of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's hardening interest in France star Nasri will astonish fans of both clubs as the Barclays Premier League champions look to become even stronger ahead of next season.

Barcelona Offer Thiago Alcantara In Exchange For Cesc Fabregas


Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is edging closer to a return to Barcelona.

According to El Mundo Deportivo recently revealed that negotiations between the clubs have been ongoing for almost a month and the situation remains the same with Arsenal's asking price proving to be the stumbling block.

The Gunners are demanding €55 million for the Spanish international and the London club even rejected a €40 million bid from Barca last summer.

The newly crowned Spanish and European champions are hoping to reach a compromise by including star youngster Thiago Alcantara in their offer.

Barca are said to be willing to offer €35 million cash plus the Spain U21 midfielder in exchange for Cesc.

It is believed that Arsene Wenger is a big fan of Thiago and Barca hope he softens his stance if they include the youngster in their bid.
